Any one spent some good time with this sub? I just have a few questions about it. And i havent seen polecat around latly.

Questions would be.......

What is the best box anyone has found to work well for a daily driver for it? What tuning and size? I listen to rap.... and yea rap is about all i listen to in the car some linkin park and other like kid rock type shit. But 99 % of the time im listening to rap.

Is there any diffrence between the 04 and up solox's?

Just stupid stuff i would like to know before i may pick one up.

I can help you out...Tracy has been busy I'm sure.

I'd put the solo X 18 in a 8 - 12 cf box. 12 cf would be pretty ideal if you can fit it...especially if you don't have a whole lot power. Tune it to 35 hz and have a lot of port area. I'd do about 40% port to cone area. There isn't a difference in the solo X...only in the L7's. Just becareful and not break your back installing the sub.
