Kicker solobaric subs

Why are so many people hating on Kicker's square subs? i thought they were some of the best out there for the price. What are your opinions on the L5/L7 12"?

I had a 10'' L5, & it got loud for what it was. But it sounded like shit, complete & utter shit.

it more about what you've listen to to you they might be great but to other guys who have heard alot better, they're junk. hell when i started 20yrs ago 1st thing i ever heard was pyle, they were the shyt. til i heard some M&M godfathers.

cause kicker uses a 2.5 inch coil for their l7.

whats the durability like on these subs? i just got a 12" L5 and its not the loudest ive heard, but it has the lowest bass ive ever heard and shakes my truck pretty good

Durability? alright if you ask me. They do get loud, but I just don't care for them at all.

i would say this is the case for most. i heard some kicker l5 8s and it wasnt anything impressive. just like ive heard a jl w7 and sure it was loud, but not any louder than any other 12 rated for 1000 watts.
