kicker solobaric HELP!!!

My brother recently gave me his kicker solobaric L7 12" So I replaced my Alpine type s and the kicker sounds bad! I have it powered with a kicker 200.2 amp, do i need a better amp to power this sub? Thanks Alot

yep, ad the box probably isn't suited for the sub either.

Thanks for the quick response, he also gave me the box it is just a plain sealed box. What type of amp and wattage do you recommend? Thanks again!
