i've never used or heard solox 18s, and i've owned a 9518g. the 95 was nice, but with so much more cone area i have a hard time believing the solo can't at least keep up ekim...

I had a 9917b dual .5 in my CRX with two Orion 2500d's and I beat my buddy in his Grand Cherokee by a solid 1.5db with his Solo X 18 and four Orion 1200d's strapped to that thing... the box was huge and the port was even bigger. I dropped an MT 18 dual .7 in the exact same box in my CRX and gained 1db from the 9917b after I blew it... again, i'd rather have the X for the recone capabilities though...

My buddy SikCavy took my old Solo X 12 dual 1 and ran it in comparison with his 3512 dual 1.4 iirc in the same box and they were pretty even...
