what could have happend?

well im having an problem with one of my amps going into protect. the reason i am puzzled is because, i had each subwoofer ran parallel to an strap pair of AP 15001D'S 4 single 4 ohm subs. so each amp should have been seeing an .5 ohm load. when i had the subs in an VERY small sealed box i could WANG FULL tilt No problems! so i took that box out an put in an Big ported box for 2 of the subs. so i Mounted the 4 Subs in ISOBARIC, and no my amp goes into protect if i wang on it pretty good? i rewired the subs into Series/parallel isobaric and i still have the protection problem. Weird thing is i had the subs in the same box in ISO before i even ran the subs non iso in the small sealed box and it worked flawless then. what could i have done wrong?

they wang like hell when everytihng is wired parallel

ive heard that plenty of times even besides that fact maybe you missed it, but i also wired these subs in series/parallel and same thing.

re-check all your wiring. sometimes grounds will shake loose. and when you are "wanging full tilt" more vibrations might be rattling it. So b4 you call it game over check your ground. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

after reading posts that i was too slow to see; probably not your issue. i'm guessing the amp doesnt like the ohm load, or one of your coils may not be in tact.

Check it anyway.

thanks i will do. but im thinking its one if not more than one of the **** subs. thats the only thing i can think of that would affect my amp like that
