i just want to say whoever it was that said a Solo X wont sound good when fed ALOT of power, u dont know what ur talking about. the solox has won more SQ competitions than almost any other sub out there, as well as SPL (but that goes without saying)

You're an idiot. If you actually KNEW what they did to win SQ comps instead of pulling facts out of your *** you would know that they most likely did not feed it ANYWHERE NEAR it's power capabilities.

And i HIGHLY doubt that it has one more SQ comps than other subs.

Please read up on stuff before posting crap like this again.

i use mine everyday.....seven days a week without any problem and yes they are power hungry i have 2 planet audio 2250d on mine. a lot of the power handling depends on the box size and if it is sealed or ported.....my last box was a 6 cubic foot sealed and it had a pmax of around 3000 watts. the box i have now is a ported box around 5.5 cubic feet and the pmax is about 5000 watts...
