you can use a 2ohm or .5 stable amp.

You need a super special amp that is coated with SPL paint. Most amps won't run it because the Solo X terrifies them..

you can drop in whatever coil config SPAIR you want, but make sure you have an appropriately matched amp.

Actually a D1 Solo x + ZX2500.1 would be pretty nice.

i'm not really fond of kicker, but their solo x's are their only good models. like those L series.

anything below blows.

but they don't really last long.

it's made very cheap. they always blow, or at least all the people that i know own kickers kill them after a few months.

I am not a huge fan of kicker by any means but is it possible that all the people you know who run Kicker clips the fawk out of the subs and runs low voltage to the amp?

I used to run a MTX TA7801 and Fi Q @ 1ohm. Beat it daily no problem. Sold the set up to my brother in law and he blew both. Not because the product but because his knowledge.

that is very possible. but either way. i hate how EVERYONE in my area claims that kickers are the best. i always ask them what new system they are getting, they say kicker. FCUK it's annoying. so many ignorant fools out there.

Its Alpine for me. I showed up 2 kids with their Type R's with 2 sundown E8's on an Orion 2500D. They said it was a 4k amp until I questioned their 8awg ground and why they wouldnt let me see the amp.
