Kicker Solo X 10" vs 2 Kicker L7 12" vs Kicker L7 15"

If i were looking for sql, i'd go with the cvx over any of them.

If it has to be a square, tho, i'll x3 the 12's.

You could probably tune the 15" lower and get the same output, tho, especially since you could afford a bigger box with the extra space.

i was thinking about that too, isnt that possible? has anyone like tried that befor?

just put a 1kw amp to the x and 1kw to the 2 12s would that even it out, whats the difference

agreed

sq=music

the single kicker X 10", TEN inch holds 2.5kw and the others are just like 1k

so i was wondering wouldnt that make teh x sq sound like shit? or is the x made for good quilty sq

you cant judge a speaker solely on the power it handles.. that has little to do with it usually..

the solo x sounds good in the right setup.. you can get a lot of subs to sound good in the right setup.

ported is gives you a boost in SPL generally, but if you tune low you can still retain a lot of SQ.

SQ is sound quality, basically, the subs ability to reproduce low frequencies as they were recorded to put it simply.

SPL is the subs ability to get loud.

SQL is a subs ability to get loud while still sounding good.

most of kickers lineup can sound good in the right install. but in my honest opinion, if youre asking most of these basic questions, youll be pretty satisfied with the L7s ability to reproduce music.
