Kicker solo barics

Whatever did kicker do to these subs?

I remember back in the day...a.k.a. a few years ago when they were round and the biggest marketing point was how small of a box you needed to get great sound out of them.

Kicker has some great sound, but wow. They are infinitely more of a marketing machine then an audiophile company.

Yeah, you can still find them used. They're pretty decent subs. Like others have said, the Solo Baric is still around, but they're square not. There are the L5s and the L7s. Or, you can step up and spend big bucks on the Solo X. The small enclosure appeal is gone now though. The new square solos like large ported enclosures from my experience.
