no but seriously this is a lot of firsts for me, and i hope it pays off

its like ~4.5@~32hz

im going to flush mount the sub / double baffle the front plate

im also probably going to carpet this ****er

i measured my trunk and by the numbers it should fit, however it looks mother****ing huge so im not 100% i might test fit it tommarow

i hope this sucker is loud as hell

tommarow i plan to brace it/seal it/flush mount it/finish the top/ sand it/ install the terminal thingys and probably some other stuff but i cant think because im covered in saw dust adn wood glue right now

hope this fits

whats everyone think

haha the nails were just a joke my friend thought it was funny to put nails on it idk hahaha

im acutally probably going to bolt the sub in with a peice (inside the box) of mdf acting like a big washer to take a little weight off of that because the area is slightly thin

i think that bottom edge of the port was the only cut that was off on the whole thing so im allright with it. what i plan to do is put like a metal grille material stapled to the first layer of baffle and then put the second layer over it so youll never even see it anyways

gonna start working more later today ill post pics

well just went out to test fit it and it wasnt even close to fitting in my trunk //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif idk what im gunna do i guess i might try to redesign the box or something... i didnt want to make it much smaller though............

well i had to scrap the old box, but it makes an awesome work table hahaha, but if anyone wants it its an awesome box just too big for my trunk

ANYWAYS i started a new one, and im glad i did because now that i have a little more experience with the saws and such every cut was super clean... im much happier with how the box is looking now

well heres some pics

i did all the cutting and sanding in my room (stupidly) and theres seriously like dust on top of EVERYTHNG in my room , it sucks... but i guess its my own fault

lmao

prolly gunna finish the box itself tommarow and then carpet it monday mabey

cant wait to hear it how it sounds

well acutally my bedroom is our basement, so its actually a really large room. in the room off of my room is our workshop so it was just easiest.. but yeah maybe it was not the best place however haha

maybe theres a reason you dont see it that often........

tis about 3.5 cubes at around 31ish hertz

the box is basically finished ill get pics and install it tommaorw and post htem all up

it looks really nice imo
