For powering 2 IDQ 12". If you would go with the Hifonics would you wire it 1 or 2 ohms? BTW I want w/e is best for SQ!

Well 500 watts more @ 1ohm for the Hifonics.....

Some people have had bad luck with them dying but I have run 5 of their 2ch amps and no problems....

I would go with the hifonics. I like that the Hifonics amp is 1 ohm stable.

i would trust a kicker at 1 ohm more than a hifonics. mines been at 1 ohm since i've had it. very efficient, and far superior protection on the kickers IMO also, helpful if your electrical isnt up to par, and you'll be seeing voltage drops.

Hifonics ftw.

Either way you're paying price vs. performance.

Kickers cost more, worth more.

Hifonics cost less, worth less.

I say honestly, screw both and go Sundown. Quite a bit more cost-effective than Kicker.
