kicker mono amp or kole audio mono amp

I need an amp to power 2 12inch kicker CVXs. I need 1500 watt RMS. I was either thinking of going w/ the kicker 1500.1 that will give me 1500 watt RMS, but it will cost me about $440 or Kole Audio KX1-4000D which will give me 1700 RMS. And only cost me $275. Im not on a budget but i want to save as much $ as possible cuz i will also need a sub box, bigger battery, capacitor (maybe), and all the wiring.

the kole should have just what you need. kicker is a great company. kole is a solid company with great products. go with the kole

Didn't know kole made a 4000d. If it is the same boards as the power acoustiks stay away!!!!! they have like a 50 percent defect rate. if you want a GOOD amp. go with the kole 3000d's. they did over 2000rms but they cost about 315 I think. and rated for 1 ohm but people ran 1/2 ohm daily on them just fine

find a used 1500.1 on ebay. They're going for around 200 + shipping at the moment. I've never heard of the kole model you're referring to, but the Qx1-3000 does 2200wrms@1ohm and has the same board as the planet audio 2250d (and goes on ebay for less than $200 in auctions)

he's looking for $425 obo from post #1 and the thread's now 3 pages deep. You should be able to get it for less than that.

I had mine playing at .08 ohms to test
