Kicker L7's

i am looking into buying two fifteen inch kicker L7s. I was wondering if these were good subs for the price or if i should look into something else. If i were to get these, what kind of a box should i put them in. I have a tahoe with endless amounts of space and am looking to get them as loud as possible. Any comments would be great.

id say 12^3 tuned to 35hz that should make em WANG!!

Yes.. They are good subs for the price! I honestly do not think you can get a sub with the potential these have to be loud for any cheaper... Last I looked you could get the '06 model brand new for like $280 a piece, I think?

And x2 on the box size!

Shiiiiiiiiiiiiit, if you got a tahoe you are straight....2 of these in a big o ported enclosure and youll own!!!! as long as you give them the power they need...alot of people and i mean alot under power these babies then say they arent loud....these are loud and will wang with enough power

If your looking for spl go for it bro. Them L7's will wang. Throw them in a poted enclosure and give them around 2200w rms. And Wa La. Wangsville it is.

im got them getting 1100 rms each in a 9cuft 35 hz box it is really loud, got pulled over other night on vol 10 wtf! Cop said he has a system too but its about respect turning it down when u see police lol. sob.

Thanks for all your thoughs. I just bought them and am now looking for a sweet vented box to put them in. I am unfamiliar with vented enclosures so what would be a good size for maximum spl. I am open to any other suggestions to box designs as well. Let me know what you think. Thanks!

Can someone help me with a ported box with my 2 '04 L7 subs. I want to be able to get deep deep bass and hit them hard!!!! How would I do this???
