Kicker L7 Popping

Oh, boy. Just because your gains are turned half way up DOES NOT mean your giving your subs half power. You may very well be running your amp at full power even with gains set to even 30%. Theres many variables that factor in. You need to set your gains with a DMM.

I'll slow it down for you. The subs are rated at 750 RMS EACH. The amp is a 1200 watt amp and the gain is about half way up. That should be around 600 watts. Since there are TWO subs on this ONE amp, that should mean that there is only 300 watts going to each sub. My point is that I should be able to crank the amp all the way up and the subs should be able to take it just fine.
