Kicker L7 15 Needing More Power!!

I have two 15 inch L7 that are dual 4 ohms.I currently have them hooked up to the older punch 800 amp.I have it bridged mono so I guess I am running about about 550-600 watts rms to each speaker. My speakers handle 1000 watts each rms.I have the speakers run in a series to a n 8 ohm load though i ave two of them and have the amp seeing a 4 ohm load. I can also run the speakers in parrallel and have 2 ohm load. I am having a hard time trying to figure out what amp to go with.It seems that the dual 2 ohm speakers are the speakers I should have bought,because you can go with a 1 ohm load.

Ok, well i am beyond lost reading your post, maybe im just tired from studying, anyway. You can wire your speakers to 1 ohm. http://forums.caraudio.com/vb/showthread.php?t=31984. There is also no way your speakers are getting that much power running at ohms stereo. I dont think that amp can handle 1ohm mono, so maybe look into Hifonics BX1500d, you will need an electrical upgrade though.

But for two S15L7 you need amp what is 2000W-2500W RMS @ 1 Ohm
