someone mentioned a kicker l7 15 required 7 cuft before any displacement . so around 6.0 -6.5cu ft net

i think realistically 3.5 cu ft net tuned to 32 with 3in wide slot port would be ideal.

anyone have a idea of size this sub preforms well in ??

the enclosure is going in a ford fusion 2007 iirc

i also think that 7.0 cu box for a l7 15 would it not lower rms rateing by more then half?

maybe for spl but not music.

thanks in advance

The L7 wants a big box. No smaller than 5 cf. I think what was recommended to you is about right. If you want a smaller box go with a different sub.
i had my solo x in a 3.5 cu ft net tuned to 32 hz and it shined on only 1k . didnt even get warm . thanks for the info . not my sub btw

i would assume the 6.0 cuft is there spl box. i remember they had dimensions for a spl box in the manual for the kicker comp 15
