Okay, I was nervous when I read the 1500w mono amp pushing this sub. He obviously just read the model number and assumed. It's a Bazooka BA1500, therefore we're talking 500 rms at 2 ohms.

Eh its decent. L5's are pretty nice. Buy it and sell that amp locally for more than its worth to some kid.

Makes sense. I think I can get a Memphis 1000D for a good price so I might buy both and sell the Bazooka like you said.

Not a bad deal. I sold my 12" L5 with THREE enclosures to a friend of mine for $80. It came in the Kicker ported, which sucked royally. I built my own sealed enclosure and didn't like it. Next, I built my own ported, didn't like it either. I came to the conclusion that I just don't like the square Kicker subs because they are too muddy and inaccurate.
