is the zx2500.1 from kicker a legit amp or is it bullshit power i need a strong amp with a 2ohm load to push nearly 1000watts to my 3 13.5" W6v2

It's a great amp. Strong, Efficient, and underrated.

It is one of my favorite amps I've owned.

ummmmm.... dont buy jl if you dont have to ampwise. kicker would be a better choice in my opinion. unless you are an audiophile who CAN hear the difference between monster speaker wire and a coat hanger.....................

The whole ZX line is awesome. Only thing that could make them better would be making them 1ohm stable.

heres a thought..if you only want 100@ 2ohm then why buy something with 2/3 more power than needed...why not buy a 1000 from kicker and get 11-1200 watts...save the extra money and buy something nice for your lady...

Although I can't say that Kicker amps are obviously better than JL amps, Kicker amps are definitely cheaper and are very good performers. They are worth the money.

He needs power @2.666ohms

He wants 600+ watts per speaker, therefore 1800watts.

Kicker2500.1 is 2500watts @2ohms, @2.666ohms ~2000watts...

Near a perfect match for what he wants...
