Kicker going to Circuit City...

i think they will have an L7 because kicker markets those alot dont they, and circuit city might get more sales ? i dont know. what does kicker market more comp, comp vr, or Solos? it would be cool if they had some solo Xs and thebig kicker amps. they will prolly have a couple of those preloaded kicker boxes. at least they get a better product than their almighty Audiobahn. sometimeswhen i go in there, i just look around at the cheap stuff they have, and i just tell them im looking around, they alaways show me that pos audiobahn and the "expensive one" they say " man those right ther are like some of the best speakers ever made, i told them what i have and he said it was junk, that the audiobahn (with "1100 rms" dont know what model) and 1 of those audiobahn amps would kill my setup i have now. im like no thank you. then he said when ever you want better sq and spl try out that audiobahn. i said the day that audiobahn has good sq i might get 1. all they have at the moment is junk. they have about 10 audiobahn things there, mostly the cheap junk

Any idea of what we are going to have?? im guessing all the low end stuff and maybe some of the mid line stuff... hopefully we will be able to order the high end stuff if a customer wants it.. just not stock it..

it would make sense for Kicker to contunue to support their local dealers by leaving the SX lines, L7/Solox restricted- and offer the kx line, L5/comp/compvr's for the chain stores

Whats nice about Circuit City is that they can liquidate older products faster obviously cheaper

3.5, true...I'm sure that's the way it'll work from the start...we'll continue to give the regular dealers all the support, and the more elite products..

Two things that i noticed. I am not dogging on Kicker because i am actually a reseller for them. But i am just a big fan of their products. No offense polecat.

Actually dont see how the reputation can diminish, as long as the product remains quality and is supported properly it will not hurt- people will have an easily accessible way to exchange and return the product should they have a problem, as well as an installer that would assure them a 3 yr warranty through install

There is nothing worse for caraudio than online sales, period- you just dont know where/how the product is coming from, you cannot put a face on joe schmoe you are buying it from, and sites are there one day and gone the next-

I would not hesitate to buy a Kicker product from CC, anymore than I would through Crutchfield....

I guess if we the dealers are still able to keep the higher end stuff it would be good for both the consumers as well as the smaller 'mom&pop' shops doing the higher end work. Of course, monetarily it cant hurt Kicker in anyway, unless of course they end up becoming more of a generic brand :coughRFcough: and quality standards drop. From my both professional and personal experiences I Highly doubt this would ever be the case.

What are the amps they will have there? The new 2500.1?
