Oh shit. I’ve never used a line converter before. By wiring off the existing sub in the vehicle, I’m assuming they are trying to give you control of the subwoofer the same as it was from the factory head unit with stock bass control.. If this is the case, that makes the bass knob even less useful.

I am very much so experienced in most all things electronic, both hard and software. However, I am NOT as familIar with some of the power/electrical etc involved in car audio.

I do appreciate the feed back and obviously plan to look more into all of this.

If there is anyone with ANY further suggestions, info etc I welcome all l!!!
