Kicker cvx VS type R

Withc one is louder, the kicker or the alpine, they can handle 600Wrms, and seen pretty similar in specs, witch one is louder and what the important differences between then.

PD: I'll use a 1000Wrms amp to power the sub, it will be 1 10" sub for space limitation and i want something really loud, and i have about $150 to expend on sub.

i have just found the pioneer premier 3004spl and now the thigns have change, wicth will be louder the cvx or the pioneer???

PD: asuming i'm gonna put then in same box and match their oupput 1000w for the 3004spl and maybe about 700W to the cvx.

CVX, i've heard both in similar installs. CVX hits much harder as well.

You're going to get different opinions man. Somebody on here has tested them against eachother, and the R won (not saying the results are accurate or anything). I haven't tested the CVX, but I'm pretty happy with my R's. They love the low's.

I just downsized to a 06 10L7 from a 12xxx, mainly due to weight and space. I just made a quick box cuz im real impatient, and its a small ported box, nothign fancy, 1.5^3 which is alittle larger than what they recomend for a min of a ported box. Im pretty **** happy with the sub, and im running a nine.1 @ 4ohms (400wrms) to it right now. Not even getting close to what it can do with 1200wrms.....

Its pretty **** loud even like this. My friends got a 12 type R, but only in a small shitty prefab box, not doin the thing justice. sounds good but thats bout it. Kinda off topic I know, but if I can be happy with the output from the 10l7 coming from a 12xxx in a 3^3 ported box.... thats sayin alot for the Kickers...L7 or cvx for that matter. Just doesnt have the authority down low. Impressive little sub mang.
