orion 2500d and two 04 12" L7's

do you guys think an orion 2500d is too much to power two 04 12" L7's? so they would get 1250 rms a piece, keep in mind they are not the 06 models, i know the 06 models can handle it easily, but would u guys risk putting 2500 rms to two 04 12L7's? they are dual 4 ohm

the l7's are rated at 750 rms

and you are pushing it @ 500 rms more

I think thats waaaaaay too much.

200 rms more , yea but you are putting in way to much power

your fine. subs blow mostly to amplifier clipping then overpowering so set your gains properly. also consider with music and impedence rise, you'll never see 1200 watts to each sub

i had them set properly with a dmm and after like 10 min of playing them each time i would smell the voice coils burning up, theyre not new subs either ive had them being powered with a kx1200.1 for around 6 months and i just recently got the 2500d

turn off any bass boost and set your eq to flat
