you dont wire a dual 4 ohm subwoofer to 4 ohms, so your amps power output at 4 ohms is irrelevant. You should be looking at the 2 ohm rating.

Either that or dual 2 ohm sub wired to 1 ohm. pr1000.1 is 1 ohms stable iirc

I never said i D4, that post says a 12in DCON. They dont only make a D4, theres a single 4ohm coil

x2 on the solo classic. I had a 12 in 1 cube sealed with 1/4in of fiberglass resin on the inside and it had the best sq of any Kicker I have heard.

New old school Kicker Solos. This company made them for Kicker, and they still make them. Exact sub. And, 300 watts on this D2 sub would be perfect.

Judging by WinISD beta, you're not getting loud at all with a Dcon sealed. With 300 watts @ 4 ohms, and a sealed box, I personally would get a Boston G3, RE SR/x, or a JBL GTO. Up the power and the choices would change, but I think either of those in a sealed truck box would perform well off 300 watts.

And, keep in mind that you're used to a ported JBL P1022. Those shoes are going to be hard to fill as far as output goes with that power.

well my amp does 600 @ 2 and 1000 @ 1, so i have other options
