Kicker CVR vs. JBL GTO?

I have a 97 4runner and currently run 2 JBL GTO 10's (500 watts rms for the pair) pushed by a Fosgate 360a2 amp (400 watts rms). I am considering switching from the 2 10 inch JBL's to a single 12 inch CVR in a 1.3 cu ft sealed enclosure (same quality as the JBL enclosure). The JBL's are pretty good sounding to me, but I just was offered the 12 inch Kicker for a good price. I like it to sound good inside the car, and listen to rock, alternative, country, and old school rap. I am really after SQ. I am not gonna put much money into this, and will not be upgrading anything else. Which setup would sound better? Thanks

Bottom line. The kickers will probably hit a LITTLE harder but the jbl will deliver a much better and nicer sound. ive heard both the gtos and the kickers in a sealed box and id go wit the gtos any day
