Kicker cvr ported

How much can you overpower these? because right now I am running one 12 cvr in a small ported box off a 560x1 rms rated amp and I'm scared to turn the amp up because I already blew an Alpne Type R on it.

You must have been clipping the amp because I know of people running it on 700w daily.
