Kicker CVR Parallel or series wiring

Hello,

I'm new to this fourm , came here for some help because Im very confused about if I should wire my subs in a Parallel or in series.

I have :

Kicker ZX 750.1 Amp

2: Kicker CompVR 05CVR124 dual 4-ohm voice coils.

Eclipse Cd 4000 headunit

Right now I have both subs in parallel wiring but it amp likes to kick off alot when I turn the bass boost up past like half way and the system is quiet compared to my friend who has the exact same setup.

bass boost or bass knob?

you should not use bass boost.

first off double check your wiring....

are the subs wired right?

is the amp one ohm stable? or is it two ohm?

if it's 2 ohm stable than you are killing it....
