Ite so i was crusin one night and i turnt my music up loud wen all of a sudden my bass cuts out, i check and notice my amp turned off, i thought it went into protection mode because of over heating, so i waited a lil and tried again but it still wouldnt turn on. I realized i blew a fuse out on my battery so I replaced it and my amp came back on fine. (BTW im running a Rockford Fosgate Punch 501s 1500w 2ch amp) I then noticed that nothing was coming out of my sub (Kicker CV-R 12" 4ohm DVC). I tried hooking it up to my other channel on my amp but none seemed to work. If I turned the bass level up loud on my head unit, I could hear it start to hit a lil but it makes this bumping noise like maybe my sub was blown but I don't noticed anything noticeably wrong with it. I hooked up an old PowerBass (lol) 10" sub to my amp and it worked fine. What could be the problem why my sub isnt working?

Thanks I figured thats what the problem was, and the only reason i have that kicker sub is because im jus startin to invest money into my car audio system and it was only 40 bucks including the box and the wire. What do you suggest is most reasonable sub for my amp, Im looking to either buy two 10's or just get one 12. I'm not tryna go overboard, I just want somethin that beats. I also have a pioneer mosfet 4 channel amp for my highs but i kno its old like my other amp. What kinda sub gimme sum ideas.

Is this a blue or blue/white wire from the Kenwood? The ACC wire is red and although that should turn on the amp, it is not the prefered wiring...
