Hey, I have a couple questions about these subwoofers. I was thinking of purchasing this enclosed system on ebay. It says it is prewired to 2 ohm. Does that mean that if I just hook up an amp to the terminal, it will only have 2 ohms of resistance? Or will it have more or less? I am also wondering what amp to buy along with these woofers, preferably something under $250. Thanks for all of your help.

yes, it has one set of terminals that will be 2 ohms.

i was looking into that pre-loaded setup for a while, but decided against it. the box is tuned quite high (around 40Hz), so it probably won't sound that great. but if you do decide to get it i'd keep looking for beter deals. i saw them go for under $120 all the time on eBay (which is cheaper than just the drivers //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif) if you can get a good enough deal and decide you don't like the box, you'll still have the drivers, and can make your own box!

Ok, thanks. If I bought that system, what amp would you reccomend? I was thinking of either the KENWOOD KAC_8152 (550 rms) or the KENWOOD KAC-9102 (850 rms). The specs of the subs say that they can handle 300 rms each and 600 rms total. If that is the case, which amp would be better? Would the 850 rms be too much and blow the speakers or would they hold up just fine?
