Kicker Comps. Whats up wit'em!??!

My buddy has 2 kicker comps 12" s in a sealed box he wants to sell for 175.00 is that a deal? I don't know much about kicker. I usually only dealt with rockford or mtx speakers. kicker is one of the biggest names in car audio, however your friend is ripping you off you can ge those 2 kicker subs for 150 for both new, unless they are kicker comp vr's then it would be a good deal.
