One quick question on two amps.

I am looking at the KX600.1 and the KX400.1 to power my 2 10" CVR's. What are the birthsheets numbers for these two amps??

The subs RMS is 300. They are 2 ohm Dual VC. So when I wire them up they will be either 1 or 4 ohm, correct??

Since they are both dual 2 ohm, you can get a 1 or 4 ohm resistence on each sub. This will allow you to wire them to .5, 2, 8, and I'm too lazy to figure out the last resistence, but it would be between 2 and 4 ohms....so get an amp that does the power you need at 2 ohms

Both of those amps put out max power at 2 ohms i believe...i had a kx600.1 and birthsheet was 720, and i bet it did every bit of it.

I think a 400.1 would be enough to power both of those subs quite well at a 2 ohm load.

Only a KX400.1 for the CVR's??? I Don't know about that, I am getting a pair of 10's for a buddy and plan on using the DX700. I think it is the cheapest most efective amp for the subs out there but I could be wrong...

Jon, the DX700 is a great amp as well...nost did 750-850 watts into a 2 ohm load, class D with remote gain...good amp.

You can find kicker dx700s on ebay for around 175 shipped. That lanzar amp you speak of is not of high quality. I have had expierence with them and i will tell you this, they clip easily and get warm when bridged. Spend your money right the first time and get the kicker dx700 or the kx600.
