Hi. The kicker birthsheet says 317watts max rms

Model:

KX 250.2

Details:

» 85 watts RMS x 2 at 4 ohms (125 watts RMS x 2 at 2 ohms)

» 250 watts RMS x 1 in bridged mode (4-ohm stable in bridged mode)

I am wondering if somone can tell me how much power this thing can do at 4 ohms. with two channels I searched a bit and cant seem to find anything. Thanks

here is another amp's specs and birthsheet scan to help figure this out

kx 850.2

295 watts RMS x 2 at 4 ohms

425 watts RMS x 2 at 2 ohms

850 watts RMS x 1 in bridged mode

Now I could be wrong but those look like they are rated to 4 ohm

My guess is approx 110W @ 4 ohms per channel

125/85 = seems that the amp does approx. 32% more power at 2ohm per channel...

317/2 = 158 x 2@2ohm, so approx. 108wx2@4ohm.
