I replaced my Eclipse 6 1/2 coaxials (rearfill) with some 6" Kicker bass drivers. When sitting in the back, and looking at the back dash (meaning, when im close to them) they pound hard. but in the front seat, not nearly as much. should i make a mini box for them, hanging from the undercarriage of the rear dash, or just amp them? they are older models.. they look like the old cirle solobarics, only 6.5" ones. pretty heavy. basicly look like 6" subwoofers. nice size motor on them. Should these be amped? im running them off of my HU for now (only amp i have is my EA2000 which is powering my front components)
like i said the close you are to them, u can really hear them pound. and on some songs, even from the front seat they hit hard (certain song, certain note) they rattle my rearview mirror. I belive they are 100wRMS a peice. if anyone can find info and pics on these, thatll be great.
They look like these. but alot nicer, and cleaner
So either:
A) build a mini boxfor them
B) amp them. They are SVC 4ohm. i THINK, which is why i need info on them. not sure the exact VC config. all i know for sure are they are SVC
