I recently bought some Kicker 40CS654 for my 07 Honda civic coupe after install they give off a loud hiss. What is the cause? What can I do to get rid of it? I don't go to shops I've been installing my own stereos since I was 15 and haven't come over anything like this before so some help would be great?

Well my door speakers don't make it and neither do my tweeters just the back and the rca is fine the gain is at 0 and I've tried turning it down. Doesn't matter what my volume is at just hiss

noloud4 knows something about noise don't you!!!The fiesta is going crazy ain't it?????

Another thing i have seen and heard before is that when you try to use the factory amp.If your car has one that sometimes it picks up a hiss when tied into a aftermarket cd player! I have seen this on some tahoe and suburbans with the oem factory amp.But from what you have posted can't really say!!!

Well I just have factory wires and when I had the factory speakers there wasn't a hiss but now with the kickers it hisses. I've hooked them up 2 different ways with the conversion kit they sent with them and with just straight wires and it just hiss. I don't think it's the speakers but I haven't had time to mess with it lately. Screw shops they just rip you off and don't do crap. Atlas when I do the work I learn and it's free if I mess up oh well

Is this a blue or blue/white wire from the Kenwood? The ACC wire is red and although that should turn on the amp, it is not the prefered wiring...
