kicker 350.4 for SS components?????

i'm getting 2 sets of 5.25" SS components rated at 85rms, im wondering if you guys think the 350.4 will be ok to run them? its rated 60x4 @ 4ohms. otherwise i guess i have to run the 650.4 which is more current draw than i really wanted.

these come alive with power, I have the SS562's with the front oif a Kicker ZX8504, so I'd say step to the KX6504 or newer ZX

ok, and yes i will be going with the zx amps. In that case considering the zx750.1 and zx650.4 are each fused 80A (160A total) do you think i'll be ok with a 150A alt, Big 3, 875cca battery (stock was only 475), 2awg power wire, and a 3 Farad cap? keep in mind this is a daily driving setup no comp, just some intense techno occassionaly.

I think you should be fine, I have not played with the new ZX amps, but be smart with the gains and they will love you back,

 

 

oh yeah, many people will reccomend that you ditch the capacitor, (in multiple tests, they have shown to actually cause more drain on the system and are not really needed for daily driving,

 

what is the 750.1 going to be pushing?

the 750.1 will be pushing my 12" L7 4ohmDVC 04 model, so if the ZX are underrated as the kx then it should put out close to 900rms @ 2ohms

i know about the cap issue, but its one thing i dont agree with along with the whole 'rear fill is a waste' but thank you again

I have a pair of caps myself and I will swap them in and out from time to time, at the moment I have a temporary battery in my truck and I use the caps as support of a too small battery, needing to order SVR 80
