i was going to up grader from a kicker 1500.1 to a 2500.1 is there similar amp to this that i can depend on for actual wattage ,and could 2 sa sundown 12's handle this wattage

are you looking for daily use? and are they d1, d2, or d4 coils?

If its at 2 ohms, I dont think theyll be able to handle it for daily. That amp is actually underrated

however I've got a 15 in the classifieds with dual 2.6ohm aluminum coils that will. With some box rise it out to put it on the 2ohm range...

which 2500? my kx puts out closer to 3k but the newer zx lines barely make it to 2700. i run mine daily and comps and no problem.

well I ran my type r's on a kx2500.1 no problems, then I added more power with my DD still no problems. If the sa's can't take the same power as a type R something is wrong with install

The ZXs put out over 2700. We clamped mine at 13.8v 2812. Its a 2011 model with the gain scoped

yes sorry to all , i use for daily use and d4 voice coils im just saying i hear bouts all these other amps but never heard or seen one in action ( audioque) i love my 1500.1 kicker just looking to upgrade here in the near future and looking for ideas
