if you search..You will find a couple of websites that sell factory refurbished amps with as much wattage as that plus cheaper.

I bought a Kicker KX250.2 for $40. 90 day warranty! Woohoo!

There are tons of websites that sell them..

Might want to look into it. At least you have a 90 day warranty. Will your friend offer you that?
