in the dark ages trying to get 140 on 5kw lolz

i get alot of raised eyebrows when i say 147 on less than 2kw with only 2 12's..

on 2 cactus 600.1 strapped at 1ohm with rise to 2.9ohm i dont remember voltage drop my buddy got 4700 out of them 2 amps

I call the bs I checked term lab and neither of there name came up with 160 only 150s Which I seen eddie alfaro running a similar setup in a crx and before the amp cut out he was doing 155s with one 18 more watts but I think 1-2 batts thats why the amp cut out.

check soundoff.org for finals info. There have been 160+s in the basic stock classes for a long time in USACI(starts back in 04 I think, maybe farther back). This is real for sure.

I did not know that the amp was rated @4ohms ...

still seems weird for the fact that just because its rated @4 ohms and called a 600.. seems like a sneak cheat...

i have little to no knowledge on spl comps but i was under the impression that 600watts were used.

All usaci ratings are 4 ohm ratings.

i would love to see more of what midwest spl does, they clamp the amps to see what power they are actually putting out, and thats how classes are determined.

I like that idea, but I don't get along with Steve lol. Not to mention it is very low budget right now. Parking lot finals is well...I don't want to get into it. LOL

ive never met him, and never been to one of their shows, just read through the rules not to long ago. it would really level the field, in usaci my amp only does 1k
