Kick Panels/Door Pods? Do I have Options?

I have been looking into making some kick panels or door pods for my 2002 Buick Century, but either one is going to take up more leg room then I am willing to part with. Thus, brings me to my question.

What other options do I have?

well what you can do is build out of the already existing hole and put it out a little farther than it is but not too much.. get what i am saying..?

So, not quite door pods, but extensions. I have considered this. Kind of wanted to build something for both my tweeter and midange....

So i was thinking maybe a small door pod just to help point the speaker in the right direction and possibly the tweeter in the A-Piller. Would that mess with imaging too much?

So, i was thinking to simplify things, i could leave my midrange speaker in the stock spot, and mount my tweeter in my a-pillar. Prolly fabricate something so the tweeters pointed at the opposite headrest. How do you think that would improve my sound over where my tweets are now?
