kick panel question...

hello. I competely new to kick panel, but i have some question....

i have read on some website that said kick panel is one of the best way to point/install componet speaker for SQ...

here where my question come in.....

during the process of pointing the tweeter and the woofer the driver side will point to the passenger left ear and the passenger side to point to the driver right ear.. so let say the pointing process is done and the kick pod was made...

when the driver and passenger is in the car wouldn't the leg cover the kick panel and the sound would be block by their leg????

when u guy spent 300+ dollar for the good speaker and put in on the floor wouldn't water/snow/dirt get into them making them go bad???

I'm just seeking for answer to clear off me concern because I was going to make kick panel for my car.... ( i dun want to make anybody mad)

any help solving this concern is greatly thanxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx.......

The answer is yes for both questions. Place the tweeter high enough so it will not be blocked. Some people put them higher up on the doors or even in the dash.

Kick panels need grilles.
