kick *** class d 4 channel amps.......

Jl hd 600/4 for starters.. Then i would go mmats not sure if they are class d though.. The sq 4125 is very small and sounds amazing with great power output.
The mmats amp is really not that small at all... it is also class ab

I would say the PPI Phantom series amps myself.

My personal experience with the ppi900.4 was it sounds like crap. It sounded very empty and tweety (yes I know how to set it properly). The midbass sounded terrible too. All in all I hated it, I have a rockford T800-4bd now and the difference is amazing. But that's above your budget. Old school infinity amps sounds very nice and can get decently loud, I would try old infinity if I was you

Are you kidding me??! Countless reviews and this is the ONE that says that amp is crappy. I have one wired active (3 way active setup) running EIGHT mids / midbass and have no trouble keeping up with high spl (see avatar //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif) Obviously something on your end or maybe you got a bad one ...

Countless times I was told how clean my mids and highs sound at various comps //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Full range Class D is very unlikely to sound like a Class AB amplifier if you're expecting a certain quality to the sound. Neutral is the way I describe Class D. In a true blind comparison test you probably wouldn't reliably pick the AB amp anyway if it's compared to a good Class D amp. The technology for full range Class D is very mature now.
