keyless entry to turn on underglow?

I have a crimestopper CS-865.RKE.II for keyless entry and i have a free channel.. My plans are to be able to turn on my underglow with one of the channels.. I know there will have to be a relay somewhere but I don't know how to hook it up.. I want to be able to hit the button and the neon will come on.. then i hit it again and it turns off.. Is this possible?

The question is, can your system's channel be programmed for "latched" output? Latched means that pressing the button activates the output, and another press turns it off. If you can program your auxiliary channel this way, then you just need one relay, wired as follows:

85: alarm's aux output

86 and 87: fused 12v+

30: to lighting system

If you can't program the unit for a latched output, then you'll need a latching relay network. Here's a diagram:clicky clicky
