I'd assume the tighter the relief cuts are together, the tighter the curve will be, but the more stress it will put on the MDF, and a higher risk of it breaking. Conversely, I'd imagine a wider gap between relief cuts will lead to a wider curve.
As far as depth goes, if you cut too shallow, the MDF will just snap. Too deep, and it may be too thin to have any effective strength, and maybe snap... don't know. I experienced the first, though.

resin the inside and the back to make the wood strong
or nxt time u do this...mix some of the wood dust with the glue and then put it into the slots so when u bend it it will be alittle more stronger than just having glue

now fiberglass up the inside...
its not hard from what ive seen done (stratusrt) just takes patience and careful measurements
