Kenwood Security Codes

Hi im new to this site and im looking for some help if possible. I recently purchased a kenwood model KDC-419 from some relation of mine and he lost his papers and cant remember the security code. Does any one know if their is a universal code for this model? It is a 4 digit code that goes to 9999. If anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

have you tried calling kenwood?
