Kenwood receiver question

I have A Kenwood DMX125bt unit that was installed a couple of weeks ago. Yesterday I connected the wiring for iPhone mirroring but the AUD IN was already being used. I disconnected The red/white rca plug and used the rca plugs for the cable for mirroring. Everything worked fine as far as mirroring my iPhone on the Kenwood receiver. But when I use the hands free phone I can hear the receiving end but they cannot hear me now. So the rca plug I disconnected was for talking hand free.
is there another way to connect the hands free rca jacks? Or the mirroring rca jacks?
