hey which system will hit harder,be louder and have overall better sound

quality?

2 Kenwood subs Rated at 400 rms each

1000 watt kenwood amp rated:

2 Ohm@14.4V 500 Watts × 1

4 Ohm@14.4V 300 Watts × 1

in a sealed box with an aftermarket headunit

or

2 Alpine Type R (4 ohm) rated at 500 rms each

1000w Kicker zx1000 rated:

1000w x 1 (2 Ohm)

in a ported box and a stock headunit with a line out converter

My friend has the kenwoods and i am getting that alpine setup...I jus want a few opinions

type s 12"s sound great for a d.d.

hear many good things about the type r's.........they put out some good numbers.

i'm getting set-up for a pair of type r 12"s @1ohm

i made the mistake of owning a pair of 12" tornado lookin grey crapwoods........they ****, the only subs i was happy that they got jacked!!!
