Kenwood or Alpine

I currently own both of the 04 lineup. I would go for excelon gear if I got a new one

I say neither, but out of the 2 i would go with alpine.

I have a kenwood excelon kvt-815 dvd flip out with 7" monitor. In great condition except the face release button sunk in. Plays dvd's. Looking for $450.00 plus shipping. I also have a kenwood excelon mp3 keg. will add for another $100.00.

I paid $1,250.00 just last year for it.

Wait are you referring to strickly the '06 lines? Cause if you are Kenwood Excelon for sure, Alpine totally sucks this year unless you want to use your ipod more then anything else. If you're talking about over the last few years... I would say the Alpine 9835 or 55 (if you don't care about glidetouch) and the Kenwood XXV-01D are what you should be looking at...

Have you owned both lineups? Are you just basing this off of others opinions?
