kenwood in cd mode....

We just installed a kenwood kdc-mp7028. In cd mode only the tweeters play... in radio mode the subs play and the mids... whats up with this? anyone know whats wrong? we have configured almost everything in the manual and cannot find out what is the problem.

My first thought is that you have connected the power antenna lead and the amp turn on lead improperly.

In radio mode the subs and mids play = The power antenna lead is connected to the remote turn on for the amplifiers.

In CD mode the tweeters play = The factory or aftermarket amp powering the tweeters is using the amp turn on lead.

Where do the tweeters get their power from?

And where do the mids get their power?
