im wondering if my head unit, a pioneer deh-205 thats from 1994, is hurting my sq? i have everything on it set flat and the eq takes care of the rest, so the adjustability doesnt really matter to me.
heres the rest of the system, in a 68 impala wagon.
-hifonics epsilon eq in the dash
-pheonix gold ex-215ix eq/crossover
-boston acoustic pro 6.5 mids in fiberglass kick panels
-aura tweet rings (removed from the rings)
-hifonics vega crossover for the mids/tweeters (set at about 25-2700)
-beals brothers 8s in the doors, fully deadend
-pioneer gm-924 running the midbass and mids (70-75 rms each)
-us amps usa-100 running the tweeters (50 rms)
the reason i have 2 eq's is i set the indash flat and the pg to where it sounded good overall, but if i want to cut/boost for different music i can do it at the dash.
