How would I do it at the top of my car? I don't want to have a cable visible but I don't want to drill. Yeah, my dad said demand Maaco pay for the tint.

wow the car is looking real good. If you can get Maaco to fix the tint... see if you can get a little darker tint too... That would look sick man.

I can't get darker tint because Maaco would be paying for them to replace tint on two windows. I'd have to pay for 3 more windows if I wanted it darker.

oh yeah.. I never thought of that... Keep it where its at... It looks **** good... Darker would be more gangster tho.. You dont always want that tho.

Thanks for the comments, makes it all worth it. Can anyone recommend a good leather cleaner/restorer? 10 year old leather isn't that good looking. Has a bunch of wrinkles and dark spots.

Yeah, Maaco should pay for the overspray they did on the windows, but make sure you tell them you are taking it back to the place that put the tint on in the first place. Looks better without the badges BTW. Not sure on your meaning of "imprinted". Do you mean there's an outlining indentation?

Those pictures look alot better. Sorry to hear about the overspray on your tint. I would do what the one kid said and go back and be firm with them to have them pay you to replace it. Good luck and keep it clean. Peace!

Is the overspray on the tint or the window ?

If its on the window w/o the tint just grab a razor blade and scrape it off.

Okay, that's what I needed to know. Don't touch that area then. I think it would have been slick if you could have done a body mold to cover over that part of the door getting rid of the emblems. Makes the car look better imho.

It's overspray on the tint, not the window. I'm sure Maaco won't mind paying for it.

Spr0ket, think if I had Maaco take the emblems off and bondo or whatever the "holes" and repaint that section black it would match with the rest of the car? Think it'll be expensive? Think it'll be worth it?

yea.. im asuming it is from when they jammed it, only way to get paint on the inside of the car. but then again, it is maaco were talking about. anything is liable to happen.

Maaco got rid of the overspray today, and noticed a spot they missed on my car (didn't notice it myself) and told me to bring it in soon and they'll paint the spots free.
