Well Maaco has my car. Assholes want cash so they don't have to pay the percentage... sucks, now I have to come up with the cash. Looks like it's gonna be a busy week.

that's weird that they only want cash. I would expect that from a place that also sold drugs. But anyways, hope it turns out good. I can't wait to see some pics. I may end up taking my car to Maaco and if I see some good work from them, then that's a good thing.

Yeah, I said the same thing. I was also thinking along the lines of no transaction records without a credit card...

Maaco called and said it should be ready on Friday vs. Saturday (what they told me originally).

They keep them inside.

Was told it's in the spraybooth right now and I'm welcome to stop on by and take a peek. Ahh, Maaco of Hollywood, FL is very nice to me! Going to check it out now!

You guys, Maaco is awesome. They haven't painted my car yet (it'll be painted within the next 2 hours) but their prep work is awesome. I don't know if everyone's bad review of Maaco is a big lie, or if I got lucky with this Maaco- but there is absolutely no old paint left on the car. It was completely stripped, the trim and decals were taken off, and everything was masked (inside of trunk, all windows, etc.). I'm confident my car will be awesome tomorrow!

Inspect all the seams

check for tape still on it.

As well as messed up trim panels/ weather stripping.

It looks good now but only time will tell

good to hear man... You may have me convinced in taking my car there... I only have about $800 to paint my car... I hope I can get a decent job for $800

Payton: The guy at my Maaco explained to me the problems with Maaco might've been years ago, but all of the franchises were told to use higher-quality paint, so that's definitely a good thing. He also reminded me, not every Maaco is the same. He told me he's visited other Maaco locations and they were real jerks to him.

I can't wait to see the car today..... ahhhhh!

I pick it up in 2 hours (5 'o clock). Anyone know what I can/can't do with it? Can I start driving it? It was painted 24 hours ago...
